Simple dressage with Severo López

Until a couple of years ago, Severo Jurado López was a fairly unknown name in international dressage sport. But after just a short period of time at Helgstrand Dressage, his career skyrocketed, and he can so far count victories at the World Championship for young horses and a sensational fifth place at the Olympic Games in Rio under his belt.


In this series, Severo explains and shows his riding technique that in his opinion is far simpler than the classical dressage principles. The essence of it is that the horse must learn how to stop and turn on the rein and move forward for the leg. And you should never use two aids at the same time.
