Training a Lusitano warmblood mix
The theme of this series here is how to create more suspension in the gaits of a horse, who's a little short and fast in its movements.
We'll see how Olympic dressage rider Anna Kasprzak approaches the training of a slightly special dressage horse, the 10-year-old Lusitano mix Addict de Massa, which Anna has had for about a year. He' sired by the warmblood stallion Sandro Hit out of a Lusitano mare, and Anna hopes, that he can become a future top horse for her.
He has a great temper and a huge work ethic, but the rider needs to be able to control the large amount of energy.
