Karin Nissen – Basic dressage exercises
Karin Nissen is a riding master at Frederiksvaerk riding club in Denmark and one of the best dressage riders in Denmark. She’s part of the Danish national dressage team and has trained countless horses for Grand Prix – something she herself rides internationally.
In this series, Karin shows us how you can teach the horse the many basic dressage exercises; furthermore, she explains the purpose and effect of the exercises. There will be many examples of possible problems you may face during training and advice on how to solve them.
In this series, Karin is riding the 11-year-old Sir James by Sir Donnerhall and the 10-year-old gelding Lacroze Selsø by Buddenbrock. We’ll also see Andreas Larsen ride the 5-year-old mare Zif Zhanel P by Blue Hors Zack and the 5-year-old mare Zarra, also by Zack. Finally, Andreas Larsen also rides the 6-year-old gelding Cabindo by Fassbinder.
